If you listened to the radio or watched TV and movies at all in the 90s, you’ve heard the songs of Sixpence None The Richer. Their big breakthrough hit “Kiss Me” is sweet and poppy and was everywhere– soundtracks, dorm rooms, first kisses– helping boost the band to platinum record sales. They’ve had hits with two covers as well– The La’s’ “There She Goes” and Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over”– and have been nominated for more than a couple of Grammys. The band’s latest, Lost In Transition, was produced by Jim Scott (Wilco, Court Yard Hounds) and released in May 2012. Hear it and more at www.sixpencehq.com.
